Five Best Traits of a Successful Multi-Instrumentalist

Multi-instrumentalist can play two or more musical instruments simultaneously with excellent proficiency. Starting as a basic instrumentalist & playing guitar in public places, he came a long way.

He improvised himself in the last years by learning music and taking coaching classes, and now he has a remarkable ability to understand music theory. He was confident, ambitious, and did great hard work.
Dr George Freundlich is a successful multi-instrumentalist and a professional musician. He has mastered three musical instruments and has been a member of an orchestra. Thus, feel free to learn from him. George Freundlich is also a retired medical doctor, and has served as the Chief of Staff, former medical director and Active Staff at Bingham Memorial Hospital.

These are the best traits of an instrumentalist:

  • Caring about the Audience

He is very keen to pay attention to his audience & produce music that his followers like. In this way, he is growing his audience swiftly. He stated that paying attention only to social media platforms like Spotify streamers, Instagram followers, or TikTok audiences is not enough to be a good musician. By improving his skills day by day and through hard work, he will be more successful. Successful musicians keep themselves far from these egotism measures. In his view, gaining a fan following on social media platforms is excellent for earning money, but chasing these kinds of stuff might start comparing ourselves to others.

  • Being Consistent

He thinks that he is just as good as other musicians or has to work harder on his skills. There is no doubt that there is a natural talent, but he believes that hard work beats talent every day. He is very consistent in his daily practice sessions & daily rehearsals with his band but has significantly less time for hanging up with friends. He is consistent about his career and music marketing and works every day harder than before, and shows remarkable consistency in his work.

  • Exercising Patience

He believes that if you want to go a long way, you have to be patient with your dreams. It’s not just trying for a month or two and then giving up your passion. It isn’t possible to get millions of subscribers or followers in weeks.

Write down a list of your goals to be successful and work for them. When you start to achieve your goals, you will feel more motivated, which keeps you inspirational about your journey.

  • Not Chasing Quick Wins

He believes that great results can’t come quickly. It takes time to be successful in creating a fan base and building a career. He states that it’s not about giving up your dream when you are not getting desired results and quitting when things become challenging. Don’t compare your trash days with someone’s highlights.

  • Accept Criticism

He believes in criticism that is always with you in this journey. No doubt he put his sweat and blood in the studio doing rehearsals and recording tracks that people like, but criticism is always there. It demands strength to cope with this. He accepts that everyone will not like his content, but he knows how to deal with rejections.

Conclusion

So, according to the musicians, a great musician comes with great hard work and resilience and the one who knows how to deal with criticism.
