Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is famously known as JBIMS. Established in the year 1965, the institute has gradually made its presence felt among the prominent colleges imparting knowledge in management studies.

The Institute is situated at the commercial hub of the country, which is highly advantageous for the institute. It imparts management education in the most latest of its form as per the requirement of the present day. Almost all types of core management courses are taught here. The students are selected on the basis of a three tier admission procedure. First the students have to take a written test, then that is followed by group discussion and personal interview.

A number of courses are offered by the institute. Masters in Management Studies. This is a two year full time course evaluated on semester basis. In all there are four semesters. The candidates willing to get admission in JBIMS should pass a three year full time graduation course or any technical course with an aggregate of 50 % marks. For students under reserve category or students being Maharashtrian, the criterion for graduation marks is 45 %. The eligible students should appear for the Maharashtra common Entrance Test. The candidates selected from this test have to go through a group discussion and then a personal interview.

Four types of Part time courses are offered. These are MMM, MHRDM, MFM and MIM. The candidates willing to apply for these courses should be graduates from any recognized University and should have a minimum of two years of work experience. The candidates will have to go through an entrance test, the Common Written Test or the CWT. This is a multiple choice objective question type test. This is followed by group discussion. The Institute also offers a Doctoral Programme. The students have to appear for CWT and a personal Interview.
