The full name of Fore School is Foundation for Organisational Research and Education. As the name suggest, the institute is a seat for management education and research alongside with training and consultancy. The Institute was established long back in 1981, from then onwards it has been associated with imparting quality management education.
The Institute offers quite a number of courses. Post Graduate Diploma in Management, this is a two year full time course. The aspirants of this course are required to write the CAT examination and then have to separately apply for this institute. The students are shortlisted on the basis of a cut off mark, and then they are grilled through rigorous group discussion and personal interview. The applicants are required to have a minimum of 50 % marks in their graduation(3 year full time) from any recognized University.
The course is approved by AICTE. Post Graduate diploma in Management (part time), this course is aimed towards imparting management education to the working individuals. It is a three year course. The students have to directly collect forms for this course from the institute.
The candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree. Post Graduate diploma in Management (IBM), this is a two year full time course in the field of international business. This course hone the skills of the individuals for efficiently carrying out their family run businesses and also for taking up jobs in the corporate sector engaged in international business operations.
This course includes a short term educational tour to the Silicon Valley of the US. The students willing to apply for this course are required to take the CAT examination conducted by the IIMs. The written test is subsequently followed by group discussion and personal interview. The applicants should have 50 5 marks in graduation in any discipline from any recognized University.
