Actually you are incorrect, Ellis College of NYIT IS still with The New York Institute of Technology, Ellis “University” however is not.

Ellis University (A Cardean Learning Group School) succeeded Ellis College of NYIT’s affiliation with NYIT and went INDEPENDENT as a 100% online university. So one could say that Cardean Learning Group is no longer affiliated with NYIT.

HOWEVER, for the students that elected to stay with NYIT after the split, here is what happens. The remaining students enrolled with the now “NYIT-Ellis College Campus” will graduate as NYIT grads. The Degrees will have no reference to Ellis College and the transcripts will come directly from NYIT’s Old Westbury campus.
