About the University
DeVry University provides applications-oriented undergraduate and graduate programs in business, technology and management to more than 57,000 students each year at locations across North America as well as online. This year DeVry University celebrates its 75th anniversary. The original school opened in Chicago in 1931when Dr. Herman DeVry established DeForest Training School to prepare students for technical work in electronics, motion pictures, radio and later, television. .

As an online student, comprehensive e-learning experience is provided. An online “campus” that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers:
• course syllabi and assignments, DeVry’s virtual library and other Web-based resources
• email and threaded conversations
• application-oriented projects and exercises
• text and course materials, available through DeVry’s online bookstore
• CD-ROM companion disks
• study notes or “instructor lectures,” which are on the Web site for student review
DeVry University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA),. The University’s Keller Graduate School of Management and DeVry College of New York are included in this accreditation. NCA is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting association and is one of the six regional agencies that accredit U.S. colleges and universities at the institutional level. Accreditation provides assurance to the public and to prospective students that all standards of quality have been met.
DeVry University is also a member of CHEA, a national advocate and institutional voice for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation. CHEA, an association of 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities, recognizes 60 institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations.
Fees
The total cost for Business Operations course is $ 50,200. For Computer Engineering Technology, total fee is $ 56,475. A $20 per session charge covers the cost of miscellaneous fees, software and other technology provided to all students. Costs for textbooks, supplies and any required specialized equipment vary by program and typically range from $220 to $540 per semester for full-time students.
